ULTIMATE SAILING PROGRAM (USP)

The Ultimate Sailing Program (USP) is an immersive 4-day camp designed for Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders who are eager to learn sailing and develop leadership skills on the water. Hosted by the Brownsea Water Activities Centre in Shorncliffe, Queensland, this program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sailing, teamwork, and maritime safety.

Every school holidays there is an opportunity for your Scout to attend a USP at Brownsea during the school holidays. This is a great opportunity to experience and lean all about sailing over 4 days and make friends with other scouts.




Program includes:

  • Fully Catered
  • Rigging, Sailing, Trip Planning, Water Ways Navigation
  • Participants can progress through OAS or VET Qualifications
  • Working together in Corsair Sail Boats
  • Accommodation BYO Tent 

Location: Brownsea Water Activities Centre, Shorncliffe, Queensland
Dates: Typically the first four days of the school holidays
Accommodation: Catered, with overnight stays

Noosa Venture is a dynamic weekend camp that brings together Venturer Scouts from across the region to participate in a range of outdoor adventures and team-building exercises. The camp is typically scheduled for the end of November or early December, providing a perfect conclusion to the scouting year.
